Our poultry meat products contain only cooked meat, salt, water and broth generated by the cooking of the meat. There are no other added ingredients containing either dairy or gluten sources. MSG is not added to our canned poultry products.
During storage, the poultry meat in shelf stable cans and pouches will develop a pink to reddish color due to the lack of oxygen in the sealed container. The pink color is most noticeable immediately after opening the product. The color fades to a typical cooked chicken color after exposure to room air for 10-15 minutes.
Our poultry products are fully cooked and ready to eat. Our cans and pouches are filled with cooked meat. These containers are sealed and processed under pressure to sterilize the product.
